I was there too. heard about it, no one really confirm the information. But the traffice from Zongdien to Tiger-leap did close for few days.
It's part of the reason I gave up my plan to Tibet by bus from Yunnan.
I am in ZHONG-DIAN right now. (I have stay here for almost a week...) I can confirm the road to 虎跳峡 is very unstable, no matter you are from Lijiang or Zhong-dian. Thus, almost every tourist who plan to go there concel their plans. Some drivers will say it's possible to go there(although the road is not good), but their way is dirving you there, to the place where rocks fell down, and you have to walk through the place by foot ....because no car can pass, and then, oh the other side, they will find you another driver to take you again. However, I also hear some tourists who really had been there said ...the road is not good, so they came back eventually.
There was some accidents some days ago. So the official closed the road. No body knows when it can be repared. If you are going to travelling here in these days, please do have clear information about the road before you depart. best wishes.
